Raxenne Maniquiz is a graphic designer and illustrator from the Philippines. Her fascination for flora and fauna often influences her work, brought to life by using vivid colors and textures. She has done both design and illustration work for local and international clients.Her work has been featured in books such as Asian Creatives: 150 Most Promising Talents in Art, Design, Illustration and Photography (Japan), Creative Talk in Asia (CTA): Volume 2 (Hong Kong), and Geek-Art: An Anthology Volume 3 (France). Her work has been exhibited at the 2013 Kaohsiung Design Festival’s Creative Cities and in CTA’s 2016 Visual Design Exhibition. Both were held in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. The catalogs she designed for Bratpack, a local retail store, have won her metals at the adobo Design Awards in 2013 and 2014. In January 2018, Raxenne’s artwork graced the cover of the 2017 Keepsake planner by local company Filed—this same planner made its way to New York City as one of the featured works in the Society of Illustrators 60th Annual Exhibition, held at the Museum of American Illustration.Her clients include, Charles & Keith, Cole Haan, Dr.Martens, Guess, Honda, and Toblerone to name a few. Raxenne’s works have been published in Computer Arts (UK), Illustrado (Dubai), Kult (Singapore), La Peste (Mexico), Philippine Airline's in-flight magazine Mabuhay, The Philippine Star, The Philippine Daily Inquirer, and Cebu Pacific's in-flight magazine Smile. She has also collaborated with homegrown brands such as Tattumundo, Renegade Folk, and Basic Movement by Esme Palaganas.
Raxenne currently develops brand identities at Plus63 Design Co., now under the multimedia umbrella Hydra Design Group. She has worked with clients such as Theo & Philo Artisan Chocolates and Uniqlo Philippines. During her free time, she pursues personal projects inspired by her interests, such as travel, film, and literature.
